Kaylynn's Kindergarten christmas Program

Last night Kaylynn had her Kindergarten Christmas program at her school. Papa, Ba, Justin and I attended. It was packed! She did a great job! I wish I would have had an actual video camera but I took some video on my digital camera. I will ask Santa for one next year! After the show, Papa and Ba took us out for ice cream at McDonalds in Jordan. The kids had a great time playing in the PlayPlace, especially when I went in with them to show them how to get to the "big pink slide". They were not too thrilled though when we had to leave and they put on quite a scene in the middle of McDonalds.

If you can't find her in the middle picture, she is in the middle right below the boy in the red shirt with the horizontal stripe.

Earlier tonight I went to upload some pictures that were on the camera. Looks like the kids were getting into trouble and it was all caught on film! BUSTED!

Cutie Pie!

On Monday morning one of my closest friends Anjali gave birth to an adorable baby girl! Kaylie Grace was born at 7:17am weighing in at a whopping 4 lbs 11 oz. She is a peanut! I am so so so excited that I just had to post a blog about it!

Redecorating

We have been doing alot of updates to our house lately. Last weekend while Christmas shopping I suddenly felt the urge to paint Kaylynn's bedroom. Mind you, I have never painted a room all by myself so I was super excited. I put both kids to bed in Justin's room that night and proceded painting. I didnt get finished with it until almost 3am. I felt like Martha Stewart! I didn't do too bad if I do say so myself!

Then yesterday Tyler got the urge to paint the upstairs bathroom. He told me he was going to do it in a deep burgundy type color but when I got home I was pretty shocked! Man is it red! Still looks better than "Handprint White". Gonna take some getting used to though! Gotta buy a new shower curtain and rug now...

Kaylynn's First Day of School

Hi everyone! I figured since everyone else has a blog I might as well jump on the wagon and start one myself. I am going to backtrack a little bit though.

**September 2nd**

Kaylynn started school today! I took the day off work so I could be there to see her get on the school bus for the first time and of course to take lots of pictures! I woke up extra early and packed her lunch and got her clothes ready. Needless to say, she was not as excited to wake up and get ready for the day as I was. After a while though she remembered what day it was and became super excited. We got ready and walked dopwn to the bus stop, with Justin trailing behind. We literally rolled him outta bed. We got to the bus stop a little TOO early so the kids had fun playing tag and dancing! Finally we saw the bus coming up over the hill and I could see the nervous smile on KK's face. Then we watched as the bus jsut kept going....it didnt even stop to pick her up! Tyler ended up driving her to school that day. So much for my "First time getting on the school bus" pictures!
It was a very nervous day for me. I kept thinking "I hope she's being nice", "I hope the other kids are being nice to her", "I hope she isn't scared", "I hope she is making friends" the list goes on...
At 3:00 Justin and Tyler and I went down to meet her at the bus stop and finally get some pictures taken with the school bus. Her drop off time said 3:13 but we got there early just in case. 3:13 came and went..then 3:30...then 3:45...then I called the school. The dispatched Kaylynn's bus and we found out she was fine, but had fallen asleep on the bus ride home and the driver didn't see her. Still not sure how she fell asleep within only a few minutes but it must of been a rough day! We had to wait at the bus stop until almost 4:30 (the bus driver had to finish dropping every other student off before she could bring Kaylynn back to her stop).
All in all it turned out to be a VERY exciting day! And Kaylynn absolutely loved her first day of school.
